A bouldering road trip movie - starring the boys out of The Real Thing, but with Malcolm Smith, Richie Patterson and 'Crimping' Andy Harris along for the ride. Unlike The Real Thing however, this film belongs to Malcolm Smith, and the production is vastly different. Gone are the scene's of doing doughnuts in the forest with BMW M5's - and gone is the hip 'music video' type of format. Instead - this is a far more down to earth film, principally illustrating the wealth of bouldering at Cresciano (Switzerland). In terms of actual climbing as well - there's a lot more of it in this production (unlike its counterpart).

Smith makes virtually everything look easy, except for when his lack of technique is shown up by the old guard (Moffatt) - who nearly flashes the V13 Fred Nicole problem which they are trying. Moon is harbouring an injury throughout the film - but this doesn't stop him from sending a number of V11's - some of which look absolutely amazing in terms of architecture. Patterson struggles to master a V10 - showing just how hard the problem is (despite Smith's flash of it).

All in all - a good bouldering film - but if you're expecting another 'Real Thing' - forget about it.
