From a dramatic point of view I think this is a very well-made film. The characters are all very well developed and the acting is actually really good. in a lot of mountaineering films the acting is mediocre because the scriptwriters couldn't get their heads around the material. This film has got a good script.
From a technical point of view....there isn't actually that much technical stuff on display. In some scenes the equipment is incorrect for the time period.
But overall I definitely recommend the film.
It's a good portrayal of the different types of people that hear the'call of the mountain'. |
