Excellent well put together guide which covers everywhere from Galloway through to Perth with much new info for lowland ice and new sea cliff areas.
Some topos are hard to read but that's typical for a non-photo based guide.
Descriptions are good and "how to get to" descriptions are also good. This latest edition has updated a few things with regard to new routes and some inconsistent grading that was found in the old guide.
If you're a climber and you're going to Edinburgh or Glasgow - get this guide which you can buy from most good book stores and gear stores in any major city, otherwise you can get it here: http://www.smc.org.uk/books/books_lowland_outcrops.htm
