International Sites Accidents: * Blood On The Rocks - An accident report by Michael Calnan on Alpinistas web site. Detailed and well written account of a 40 foot fall that resulted in massive injuries, and the subsequent 10 hour rescue by SAR and fellow climbers. * Tragedy On The Pharaoh - Very detailed report of climber death. Some serious lessons for us all. Forums: * Rec.Climbing on Google - Read and post to the US climbing newsgroup if you dare. They can be both informative and somewhat combative. It pays to lurk for a few years before posting.

Seems to incur more traffic than uk.rec.climbing newsgroup. Gear: * Black Diamond - The home of camalots! * Petzl - An amazing site. Even if you don't want to buy gear, its worth checking out the wealth of diagrams and "how to" info. Magazines: * Climbing - A US mag, very good. * Rock & Ice - Another US mag, sometimes slow to load, but still very good. Miscellaneous: * Jorg Zeidelhack - Great climbing photography! * Rock Climbing UK - Online rock climbing magazine by UK climbers for UK climbers * Rockclimbing.com - They bagged a nice URL eh? They claim it's the largest climbing routes database on the net. They have also have a good list of climbing articles, and a very popular forum. * Trad Girl - A very, very good site containing the best climbing FAQ ever. Your first port of call if you have a generic climbing question, before posting on rec.climbing. Stories: * Features (Climbing Magazine) - The mag has many of their stories online. * Mussy's Bedtime Stories - Collection of climbing stories from the Fish Products web site, many of which appeared in Rock & Ice magazine. * The Precipitous World of Dan Osman - The author heads out on one of Dans wild climbing rope jumps. Well written, though presumably for a nonclimber audience. * West Face Leaning Tower - [Link Broken?] This is the funniest big wall trip report I've ever read. You simply have to read it. You'll laugh till you cry.
