I Climb:	Gym Boulder Top Rope Sport Trad Single Pitch Trad Multi Pitch Aid/Big Wall Ice Real Mountains
Comments:	Ive been climbing with ropes for 42 years - oh man am i really that old? Before that when I was a little un I used to solo the crumbling beach cliffs of Batemens Bay on the south coast of NSW. I wonder how I lived to learn to use a rope. If you have ever seen these compressed sand piles you will know what I mean. I have just got back into climbing seriously in last four years. Last year (2007) I built an indoor wall for training and promptly injured myself doing something else! Havent really been on it much, so have not shown improvement that I hoped for. Soon - I keep telling myself. I like long multi pitches and also have a thing for delicate slabs. I know that makes me a bit of a leper, but at least I get the climbs to myself! I have a secret desire to try and solo Speigals Overhang - but dont tell my wife.
