Between Chrissy and New Years we managed to tick a couple of stellar multi-pitch routes at Mt Rosea and play around at Bundaleer. We even got some bouldering in at Taipan to escape our one rainy day.

Hey mike,
Sounds like a fun weekend... I like Bundaleer so much variety. I tryed that 17 you spoke of a few weeks back, Geranation i think it's called. I ended up backing off it. There isnt any gear from the belay till you get to the pitton unless you have rp's (useless.......)or large cams (stems cant be aligned in the direction of the force), and i have neither.... A warning in the guide would have been good.If you feel when clipping that pittion it's a good 3-4 meters onto that ledge.

Im heading to the gramps from the 20th till the 26th of jan if your... (or anyone else) is keen to come and meet up. I wana spend some time at bundaler, rosea, van diemens land, gallery or muline as well. Also i got a crashmat so maybe some bouldering at staplyon and maybe check out neils new sentinal cave.

congrats on getting to Rosea......was I right???? Isnt it great!!!

If you dont feel like paying for camping continue down the track from the main campground for about 200-300 m and there is some great sites off to the left.....
