We had a lot of fun at Mt Korong, for a short while on this boulder at the Dam Area:

It was slightly less than vertical with lots of small edges for crimping. It was possible to traverse the whole thing - just. Very challenging. With a wire brush you could have made some up problems too.

However, this boulder was probably the exception. A lot of the blocks had little or no climbable features other than the sharp granite cracks. The slabs of course, could be smeared. But it's not like there were acres of beautiful finger pockets, underclings and jugs. Araps it is not.

And just for a laugh, here's Ben soloing a wicked crack climb... hehe, well not quite, we turned the camera on it's side. It's actually just shy of hortizontal, but it looks wild eh? :-)
