Below: A map of Ben Cairn and surrounds. To gain access take the Maroondah Highway out of Melbourne to the pleasant little berg of Healesville. On the other side of town, past the bridge, turn right down Don road for 9.8km to a junction, and after a further 8km or so the road will have become dirt and you'll notice a sign stating "Ben Cairn 1040m". Head 5 minutes up the foot track to gain the crag. To find Seven Acre Rock from Yarra Junction, take the C425 heading towards Powelltown for 14.8kms. Turn right up the unsealed "Learmonth Creek Road" for 8.5, maybe 9kms to a left turn onto Bunyip Road at a T intersection. (Do not be lured by either of the two preceding lefts). Nip down a bit, and you'll quickly see a picnic area, with a marked foot track leading off on the left.
