Other ppl on this site alot more experienced than i,but I found big granite boulders around my home (up to 15m high) and had the urge to autobolt due to over excitment,also convinced "no-one had ever climbed them,new rock etc" but luckly i didnt and now have some awsome high-ball problems,as well as some great trad lines plus some harder less-protected lines for the future.Youll have to judge your own situation,but theres nothing wrong with top roping problems (no-chipping) then hitting the more developed "real" areas for a proper send etc just a thought....
