I would use a GPS when bushwalking just to back up compass and map, ie in an emergency if temporarily "geographically embarrassed". I was thinking that the very basic, been around a long time, Garmin eTRAX H for $149 on line at The Map Shop in Adelaide would be the way to go. Don't really need a map function in it. I'm not a technophobe (in case that wasn't obvious). Any problems with this unit for this limited application?
