Conincidentally. I was just reading an oldish (2003) review of HB cams by Phil Box on RC.com where he writes the following: "The very small brass head three cam units are death though in the smooth sided hard cracks around here..." Nice confirmation of the point, ODH!

I should finish the rest of the sentence from that review:
"...I`m sure they`d be fine in granite where the crystals would provide bite to the cam lobes".
