Thanks Rod. BTW the main reason I like Gri Gris is their function as an autobloc. if I'm leading on a single rope, then depending on the difficulty of the route, my second and whether I am guiding, I prefer a Gri Gri as it makes it so easy to rig a z drag - just add a Tibloc and biner/screw gate, then bingo, you can give your second a subtle hoick and they may not even know you'e done it - unlike all the rigmarole of rigging prussiks and dropping a loop. Intersting that this function of GriGris is so often not even mentioned. Cheers, andyR
