Yeah but be careful of when you buy. Last year I bought a Nikon D70s that is 6 megapix with a 24-70 lens.

This year they brought out the D80 which is 10 megapix with a really nifty 18-200 lens.
Much the same price.

So, wait until next year for the D90 with 15 megapix and a 18-250 lens.

Or the year after, the D100 with the 25 megapix and fish-eye to 350 lens is going to rock!!!

Oh God why do we ever buy technology?

I ask this as I stare at my 2002 Dell bought for $1700 with crappy small monitor and CD burner I had to buy aftermarket, when you can now get flatscreen and DVD burner and even a bolted-on espresso-maker for under a grand.
