Hey Dan - Re your second question I see you're located in Sydney. In my relatively limited experience it's necessary to have cams for the few trad routes scattered around Sydney (some of the mixed pro routes at Barrenjoey are good examples) as you frequently come up against horizontal breaks which are difficult to protect other than with cams. This is also true for some routes in the blue mountains but to a lesser degree. Personally I'd be buying some cams. |
