Hey Mousey, There is no option! I've tried everything (well hmm...), but there is nothing better than a bosun's chair, even the Petzl harness' s I find uncomfortable after long periods of time, and they do get in the way when trying to jummar alot etc... So, when I am working, either shooting, or access, I use a lightish, but padded harness, with my home made Bosun's chair. Super comfortable, but when I need to jug, either I can be lazy and do it sitting, or I can just flick the chair out behind me, and it doesn't get in the way.
