ODH pointed out one of the things was wrong with Dan's original statements. ODH points out a lot of people are wrong, nothing special about Dan. Dan then came back with the reasons behind his original statement. They were wrong. I pointed out they were wrong. Dan repeated the same stuff again. I then went into much more detail showing why he was wrong.

Then you come in with a "wasn't he kinda right though?". I disagreed and again explained why. I may have taken the piss a little but I don't think I even approached the line. I mostly attacked the arguments, not the man. If what little piss taking I did do offended then...
