a munter is great on easier ground esp as your belay device is free for if you have to rap/rescue. obviously not for dodgy anchors, steep ground or for lead belaying, and is not autoblock so you have to pay attention but quick and easy to tie off.

also learn how to convert them to cloves to save time

it's also just cool to use the rope rather than relying on tech all the time! it may freak out your seconder the first time they see it. I used it with an old climbing buddy and brought him up on one of the half ropes and when he got up there, he was like WTF, but then at the next belay, after he'd had a think and all, he said that once he calmed down about it he realised it was a good call. obviously use your judgment. I knew it was easy ground he wouldn't fall on, and I was watching him. There was also a bomber anchor which I backed up too as I was bored waiting for him to come up.
