This may be a dumb question. But...
OK, in a vertical crack you place a cam with the stem down. In a horizontal crack with the stem pointing out (towards you.) Am I right so far?
Now I am facing a nice clean parallel sided crack that is 45 degress diagonal, as in from my right shoulder to my left ear in a vertical wall. Which way do I place the cam? Stem aligned along the crack? Or facing out? Ot does it depend on the direction of the load if I fall?
