Adrian - beefy is the best one to give you advice and I can add to his comments by saying I found the spantiks were absolutely fine on Denali - although I was using overboots (forty below superlights). I spoke to a few locals over there and was told that people were summiting using Spantiks without overboots - they were pretty popular up there. Denali is not that high at 6200m but it's bloody cold. There is a good andy kirkpartick review of them around on the net somewhere if you want more info.
