I was on a 10 pitch super overhanging sport route and was on the 7th pitch (so no retreat - easier to go up). I did a move where I was sidepulling and twisting up to reach a high hold. Whilst in the middle of this maneuver it felt like someone put a cattleprod to the middle of my lower back and let it off. It was only for a second but my god it hurt. It was kinda like an electric shock...kinda.

Anyways, I managed to finish the route (still got it onsight clean - f--- yeah!) but it was kinda twingy/sore on the rest of the way up and the walk down.

We then went to the bar and had a few beers, and when I got up after sitting down for a while, I couldn't straighten up and walk properly. I took some painkillers and went to bed that night and it is now tomorrow. It's less sore but still quite sore.

Does anyone have any similar stories and/or advice? Should I go see a health care professional(expensive since I'm in Spain)? If so, which one?

My current plan is a few rest days on the beach and then hopefully back at it after that.
