Yes, once you get bitten its all over. You will never leave the pines. You will start eating rubbish to stay alive. You may even resort to guiding(work) to get "money" to buy chalk and beer. Your best not to go there. Seriously though, Araps is a hell of flies all day long, cawling on everything! Inside your eyes, your food, your girlfriend... Then at dusk they take a break and high five the mosquitoes who move in with ross river, SARS, chicken flu and herpes. Just stay at home and watch Cliffhanger. Or sleep.
