I have had 2 partners lined up and both have had to return urgently to their native countries, the most recent notification today. If anyone else wants to risk it I am arriving in Chch on Jan 1 and in NZ until 14th. I will have a car. Am packed for alpine stuff but happy to go to Darrans or Twin Streams or up the Hopkins etc etc, and can borrow rock gear from a friend in Wanaka. Not interested in Linda glacier on Cook or NW ridge on Aspiring or W ridge on Sefton but will consider all other ideas. AUs no 0434600921 Vanessa
