Hi out there, I am a little on the mature side if things to be starting climbing but love it totally. I have plans to get into mountaineering over the next 2-3 years (mid life crisis), I am pretty fit and have done a basic climbing course and are getting into the indoor climbing gym heaps and intend on doing guided courses and group ones. Also need to find a way to connect with someone or a group that wouldnt mind a beginner hanging around. Really happy to do the base stuff and be the support person while I learn, but want to learn and experiance rope work, set ups and actual climbing. Happy to travel around a bit. Also happy to mix with trecking climbs and the like. Will be wanting to continue doing courses and instruction but want to do more but I am not sure how to find people, its a hard activitiy to just rock up to so if you have any ideas (nice ones please) love to hear.
