yep, but the conglomerate is so solid that you can put wires between the pebbles and, even though they look dodgy, they can be great placements. Not that we lead anything on this method we just tried bouncing on some placements while toproping. We had walked in from the far side of the range (got dropped off by taxi from Queenstown) after seeing a pic in wilderness calendar and were a bit overwhelmed by the size and blankness of the main cliff
