Hey all, Im an expat who will be home (Melbourne) for Christmas / new years and might have a bit of spare time to explore and climb. Since I started climbing after I left aus, I dont know many local climbers and was considering solo trips / finding partners at the crag. By the sounds of it, Mt Arapiles should be doable if I show up at the Pines campgroup with gear / rope / beverage bribes. Is this still true? For the Grampians, is there a similar hub? Or given limited time would you just spend extra time at the arapiles? Cheers, James
