For a sec I thought this thread was about a climbing holiday starting in Nowra on the 20th in which case you would need some sort of rant high on the ODH scale for numptiness. It sounds more like your in Nowra coincidentally.

Firstly good luck enticing anyone to climb at Nowra on anything other than a super unseasonably cold day. If you do manage it here is the go:

Thompsons Point: plenty of routes in your grade but hits the sun after lunch. Most of the time it will be too hot to climb in the shade comfortably. You'll probably spend plenty of time swimming in the river.

Grotto: in the shade a bit more but still basically too hot and especially humid to climb. Also bring super cancer strength airoguard, you'll need it. Plenty of good routes in your range.

South Central: the rainy day crag. Forget it at your grade. Dont believe the guidebook, everything asides from one 19 is either terrible or a giant sandbag under grade 24. As an Arapiles climber the one ok 19 will probably feel more like 24 anyway because of the style.

Other real Nowra: don't bother at your grade unless your super desperate.

New Nowra: a bit higher, further inland but not as good. Some people like it, some think it's utter shit. It's a bit more outthere and adventurous than real Nowra but the climbing and rock doesn't compare.

Now onto the crags where you will want to spend most of your time!
Point Perpendicular: get yourself the new guide and you will be amazed at the amazingness of the place. It's awesome - for the atmosphere. The rock is a lot chossier than what your used to and the routes not quite as good. That doesn't matter though as this place is an awesome place to climb. Just watch out you don't go when the range is closed, call ahead.

Blue Mountains: this is most peoples main summer destination. Probably more than a day trip nut plenty of great climbing in sport and trad single and multipitch. Don't expect any superhard trad and don't expect easy multipitxhes in the Victorian style, when easy most are chossy death fests.
