there was certainly a muckin truck load of snow but it was certainly not a snow plodding nightmare even though conditions were warm. generally the snow was wet on the south side but was still firm enough in the gullies to have some fun. i think all rock on the south side was covered in either snow or rhime. on the west side things were a bit better and that chimney route of geoff butcher was the pick of them all with good snow ice all the way and some decent water ice at the crux. the waterfall was a bit wet but was otherwise in reasonable shape and there was certainly enough there to play on. the right side was impressively thick.

i think you missed out neil. conditions were better on saturday too.
