Recent development has resulted in a record number of people lining up to repeat the numerous classics sprouting up in the area. The highlights of the day included..

- Alrob's superb flash of Parklife(25),

- Will and Kevin scampering up some slippery slabs, prouncing them "soft touch".

- Me quivering up a new route on Sandbag Wall (i really should know better by now!!)

Its been agreed by all that Scorpian rocks.. the party and .......'granite blob climbing' + 'lotsa bolts close together' = a winning combination.

One punter was overheard as claiming it to be "the premier sport crag of north west victoria". I was overwhelmed by their admiration. As time drifted by, it became all too clear to me. Granite climbing is back in vogue and sandstone climbing is all but over. The long and often tedious drive far west is now a thing of the past.

Just thought id let all you crazy kids out there know what the word on the street is.

Granite = great.... Sandstone = sedated
