Hi Nick,

Can I introduce myself as an old(er) climber who is both interested and new to aid climbing. I was trying to follow the thread at Mount Buffalo NP - Big wall/Aid Fest Nov 2019 - but it seems to peter out.

I was recommended to try Ozymandias Direct "as a great training big wall" for aid climbing by John Middendorf the US developer of the portaledge (then as A5 Adventures) and now D4 (https://bigwallgear.com).

Anyway after reading of your exertions I thought you may find solace in reading of his climb of Ozymandias Direct with Simon Mentz in 2017 posted on supertopo (http://www.supertopo.com/tr/Ozymandias-Direct-Mt-Buffalo-Australia/t13126n.html)
