Man The Jura is one of the coldest region in France how was possible for you to climb out there in winter ? It's possible to climb during all of the year in south of France, Spain, Italy. I live in the Alps on we head up to the south like Nice, Toulon, Marseille lots of week end during the winter and it's just really nice, not too cold, not too warm. turkey is nice but it can be cold. http://rock-ice-snow.blogspot.com/2007/12/escalade-turquie.html this is the link of a French moutain guide's web site.
