What crag hasn't been "comprehensively trashed" in the last 10 years, I think it would be fair to say that arapiles is not as pristine as it was nor the grampians. I think is is a bit ridiculous to target bouldering with the point in mind being best to leave well alone. If vegetation chalk and enough problems is the big issue, the same can be applied to the routes. So lets stop publishing guides bolting new routes as there is more than enough for eveyone to do.
