It looks to me like that roof is in about the right place, given that top to bottom of that
cliff is in the range of 250-300m. The bottom of the cliff is cut off a bit by the trees as
well - they are probably 10-15m tall. But I do get your point - I took the pics from the
belay at the top of pitch 5 of Evolution, so everything below is a bit foreshortened.
I'm not really to sure what is possible as far as taking straight-on shots goes. I think for
the stitching software to work, it assumes that all shots are taken from the same
location. Some of the more competent photographers floating around might have some
better ideas?
