So I ran another lap on Kraken on Saturday. Great route!! I noticed that the block in the bottom is getting scarier. Ie you pull up on it and out on it while you reach up to place the #4 above you. More rain, a bit more loss of the “soil glue” and that block could pull straight out with disastrous consequences for both the leader and belayer. So I am thinking- maybe squeezing some real glue down the sides etc. What do people think? The other option is to excavate the block entirely. It will add a grade or 2 but be a lot safer? Thanks
