Of course no one is foolish enough now to admit to finding Orestes hard.
But I will ( I was only seconding, though this is sometimes more painful than leading, and I got pumped out removing the numerous wires possible).
I havent tried many 24s, but have quite a lot of 23s clean and numerous 22s. I thought the Plimsoll line was a stroll by comparison. Other 22s at Araps such as Squeakeasy and In Lemon Butter felt like 22s.
So Orestes is definitely not a 22. Possibly a harder 23, or 24 in my opinion. It is always easier to judge climbs if you are climbing around your limit I reckon. My friend leading it who had done it years before still felt it was 24.
