On 10/06/2006 Dalai wrote "it's just an eyesore", referring to the fixed sling/tat. Fair enough then, but what do you call the rest of the chalk splattering practically the entire cave? Artwork? It's a bit rich to accept the full on chalking up of every hold on the one hand, yet condemn as visually intrusive the occasional fixed sling. You can't have it both ways.
