Another thing that you may be overlooking Peter, are the ridiculously long day lengths (ie hours of daylight) you have in North American summers to do long approaches, long climbs and long potentially technical descents in (semi) alipine environments. From what I can gather the Bungles is a Spring/Autumn crag which means that Spring gives a fair bit of light and in Autumn it probably gets dark quickly. |
