Sounds like Natimuk is the place to stay? do along drive if I want to play in Grampians.
Maybe Horsham?

Camping isn't an option for this trip. My climbing gear alone bring my luggage to weight limit. Adding camping gear puts me over the top. Not worth it.

Thanks again. If you guys think the weather is OK for climbing at Arapiles. I've wanted to climb there a long time. I can do the grampians a couple of days and just do the long drive on those days.

This will be roughly a three week trip, so I need access to rest days too. If it was just me, I would be fine sleeping in my car with a blanket. My wife prefer to have a hostel or such. We like to cook our own meals with the occasional meal out.

Climbing and photography are the key. Climbing being number one.
