They were not having fun according to your limited perception. Perhaps because you do not understand what it takes to push yourself to the limit and beyond. Bumbling around and being unfit are fun as well, just on a different level. Mayan SAID she had fun, so you were wrong or she is a liar.... I think you are wrong.

Absolutely nothing? Yeah right. You are so negative! Do you actually enjoy climbing yourself? Or do you just use it as a mouthpiece for vitriol?

If being completely obsessed with rock climbing is "enslaved by ambition", I guess they are. But then, climbing is their dreams. And they make their dreams happen. I guess some people are happy to just stare at people pushing the boundaries and wonder how they can fit TV watching in between all of that exercise. Keep dreaming hero, in between TV of course.
