Medalist is a low end tool brand. Might be the stuff you buy from Bunnings? $10 for 30m length, it's great for tying a ladder onto your roof racks. The sheath looks vaguely like dynamic rope, but the core looks like the stuff they use to make Chux Wipes. But really, who is going to buy their climbing rope from Bunnings? And what climbing shop would risk their reputation and a climber's life by selling rubbish rope?
