Parents are responsible for kids at a crag. If there are any close to where I'm climbing I'll tell the parents to keep them out of the way or tell the kids themselves, which one dad didn't particularly like me doing recently. I suggested that he would be doing the explaining at home, not me, when I fall on the kid and send him to hospital. So he told the kids to get out of the way so they headed off to a gum tree and started smashing it up with a rock. Told the kids to stop it and again dad not impressed. Told him he should tie them up about a 1m up the cliff.
