With my less facetious hat on, what problem are you trying to solve here?
I remember days when I was feeling climbing fit, but felt like not doing something for a few days I was going backwards. Worst was sitting in a hut in Tassie, when I was stonking fit, wating for 7 days for it to snop snowing. I just wanted to do something to keep my muscles working.
So, I tended towards 'assisted' chin ups. Chinups, with say 1 foot on a chair back or stool. So you can pull up and push off your foot at the same time. I do think an exercise as close to climbing as possible will be more useful than anything else. |
