To Victorian knob-head climbing association.

I have been utterly dismayed at the lack fo respect amd general disregard showed towards me in Melbourne, both in Chockstone and MUMC. I would have thoufght that this state would bhave been grateful to have additional climbers in the ranks. The fact that I am also keen to meet new people is neither here nor there. As soon as I start posting, this pesky little mouse is giving me shit and people are calling me 'knob-head'. What gives? I reckon 90 perc cent of these guys are armchair observers, latte in hand and grateful for the advent of the internet so that they now don't have to venture to the crag

And anorther thing. The advent of the gym has made long hikes, bushy beards and knee high socks largely redundant. The sophistication of the climbing gym enviropnment, both socially and in terms of the climbing, is now where it's at. The bouldering cave and the crash mat take the place of hexes, friends and shocks.
