I second JamesMc's call, Fingal must be unbearable in summer. I did a couple of routes there on Saturday, and my climbing partner and I both became pretty badly dehidrated in the sun. The cliff is actually called Bare Rock! The farmhouse underneath the cliff (200m from the base of the cliff) is for sale. (rumors that the family insist on moving after being traumatised by my profanity laden dummy spit after a fall on "Sapphire Rose" can neither be confirmed or denied). So if any climbers are looking to retire to a spot in the Country, you could do a lot worse. Views across the valley to Ben Lomond / Stacks Bluff, and a 250m high 500m long cliff in your back yard (with potential for many, many more routes than it currently has).
