So everybody's favourite has-been, love-lost, swivel-chair climber has been pretty grumpy lately - bagging people out even more often than he usually does, and calling old fossils (older than him) who can actually climb (better than him) out for early retirement... Well, here is a tribute to the great man, hopefully it will cheer him up!

What About Me?
Well there's a bitter Simey waiting at the counter of his little shop
He's been "building" it for years, building every day
Now he gets showed up by old-timers on the rock
He can't get off the ground, he's just a 'has-bean' now
So he sits at his desk and he says
[CHORUS:]
What about me, it isn't fair
I've done some stuff and I've still got hair
Can't you see, I could climb a bit
Now I just talk more than I live
Well there's a pretty girl walking through the door of that little shop
Here's the man of her dreams, she's read all the magazines
But her dreams died when she finally saw his c---
So she leaves un-wowed, Simey cries out loud
He drives out to the Pines and he screams
[CHORUS:]
What about me, it isn't fair
I'm good with muff and i'm good down there
Can't you see, I could love a bit
Now I just talk more than I live
So everyone appreciate the wrinkly people
They may be old but they're the ones
That make us young people young
So listen, as they whimper... "What about me?"
And now Simey's standing in the Pines and all the girls've gone home
Nothing has changed, he hasn't got laid
And now he just feels cold and alone
Though he never picks up, he still tries a lot
Now he just wishes for more than he's got
[CHORUS:]
What about me, it isn't fair
I've done some stuff and i've still got hair
Can't you see, I could climb bit
But now I just talk more than I live
What about me, it isn't fair
I've done some stuff and i've still got hair
Can't you see, I could climb bit
But now I just talk more than I live...
What about me?
