With JJ continuing to raise the bar for the young bucks up in Queen'sland here is a little delight from Up Over - I think this bloke is known to more than a few of you!!! A guy I climb with in Squamish and Skaha (Colin Moorhead -with talent I can only dream of) spent time in Aussie and did a lot of climbing with this chap - including Moonarie (which Colin raves about!). When I was at Skaha, I took a break just as he came through and chatted with Colin - so never did meet him.

When the heavens open for a big dump at Squamish - Skaha is the best bailout option - a few hours into the interior and you are good to go. Excepting last summer where I was for three weeks - big forest fires filling the air with smoke and ash and it was way too hot to climb. Rock is a very hard gneiss which has these small little "bomber" edges that can hold you forever and a day. Great crag and worth adding to your Canuck climbing roadtrip.
