I must admit, every time I finish on the watchtower faces and walk off I remind myself of how shit a climber I am by looking up at Tjuringa wall and feebly try to work out the moves connecting the sparse number of weaknesses on that smooth face. Some of the bolts look like they were placed just to humble people - in that they sprout up in the most unlikely of places.

On one hand I can sympathise with the anonymous original poster. I want to keep looking up at that face and being humbled by how bold and insecure the climbing must be. Perhaps dreaming that one day if I got the skills up and the fear down then they would be really good routes to try.

On the other hand, if someone has taken the effort to find a surprising new line of weakness, albeit traversing the face rather than going up, that climbs well I think that the new route is justified. I am not sure of the spacing of the new bolts (3 in 38 m rarely means that they are spaced evenly) or their exact position, but I hope that they are completely unclippable from the existing routes.
