Well our tickets are booked for Patagonia from January 2010, which I gather is when the rest of the world comes to the area as well.

Given that my partner and I are slaves to a deskjob we only have 24 days in the area (before flying to Europe) and are hoping to spend it between 3 or so places in particular. Namely Frey (climbing), Cerro Fitzroy (walking/camping) and Torres Del Paine (walking the circuit). We are both self-sufficient and intend to spend the time in a tent rather than refugios.

At present I was thinking 7 days Frey, 3 days Fitzroy and 8-10 days doing the circuit. The rest of the time would be spent travelling between areas. I know it doesn't allow a lot of time but I would appreciate it if anyone out there with experience could speak up if they reckon that the above is pushing it for the time available, and if they have any suggestions for better spending the time. Eg is the W a better option.
