More stereotype sports-
surfing (short board of course!), hiking- but now more to keep fit for the pack hauling mountain approaches, seakayaking and back country skiing.
But the most exhausting thing I do is baby sit the 3 yo niece.
Did play hockey but irregular work hours and working some weekends meant I was an unreliable team member, which wasn't good as captain.
I think the comment about climbers not really being into team sports is generally true but it would be interesting to test this and see if it is a consequence of climbing (which is obviously heaps more fun) or if it is a personality trait.

Another interesting issue of who climbs arose on the weekend when we looked around at who was at the local crag, It was a spontaneous mix of several small, non-uniclub groups and there were 2 chiropracters, a physio, 2 doctors, a geologist, an architect, a botanist and an engineer. Is this somehow selection bias or are there more climbers with tertiary education?
