That is terrible news. F**k you to the guys who is suing, and f**k you to Council / Citilink for not raising the issue with the VCC etc prior to destroying this valuable asset. (I assume they didnt raise the issue with the VCC? Anyone know?). They only potential safety risk that concerned me at Burnley was the risk that a falling climber could fall and roll onto the bike path infront of a cyclist etc. This is something that could be prevented by the installation of a fence. Any other risk would be one to climers themselves that they should take responsibility for themselves.... Whats next, will they grind the holds of the Bluestone railway bridge?
