Or is it that we are over using what we have? More people demanding a better standard of living which requires more resources from a finite supply. Be it Water from the Murray for irrigation or brown coal & oil for electricity & transport. We need to use all available resources efficiently, and that will costs more. When the likes of China & India are using resources at the same rate we are, and we have done nothing to change, things will not magically improve.
